PTE is completely a computer- based test whereas IELTS is both a paper-based test as well as computer based test . In PTE , the software does the assessment, whereas, in IELTS an examiner gives the scores . The speaking module is recorded in PTE but in IELTS speaking module is conducted face to face and is recorded at the same time. PTE results declared in maximum of 5 working days but IELTS results takes total of 13 days .
